Cut a chamois or piece of flannel (of the appropriate magickal color) into two equal-sized squares, about 3″ × 3″. Place the two squares together and sew shut three of the sides to form an open pouch. Turn it inside out and fill it with whatever magickal ingredients the spell calls for. Close the open end by folding it down about ¼-inch, like the flap of an envelope, and then either sew it shut or run a cord or thin leather strap through it as a drawstring to close the bag. (Important note: Before making your mojo bag be sure that you are working during the proper phase of the Moon. For more information, see Lunar Magick in chapter One.) After the mojo has been filled and sealed, it should be ritually cleansed of any and all negative vibrations immediately, and then charged with magickal power.
